About Us

Complete Health Concepts was founded by Lisa Whaley, CN in 1993 as a private practice for Nutritional Counseling. Today, Complete Health Concepts specializes in cutting edge programs for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Osteoporosis. We provide nutritional and wellness instruction and private counseling, public lectures and seminars, corporate wellness programs, as well as PowerPlate and MRS 2000 training and sales.

Our philosophy emphasizes education so that the client understands how their body works. We empower them to take personal responsibility by providing options that fit with their goals. We encourage them with positive motivation and accountability. We provide protocols based on functional testing and evaluation, ensuring the best possible improvement in their overall health and wellness.

Lisa & Amos

Lisa Whaley, CN (Certified Nutritionist) is the founder of Complete Health Concepts. She has a nursing degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse, an Associate degree in Veterinary Technology, a BS degree in animal nutrition and a post-graduate certification in human nutrition.

Lisa is one of a very select group in Colorado that has been trained in the field of Functional Healthcare. Most recently, she has completed and is continuing studies in functional evaluations of blood chemistries, endocrinology, and advanced immunology.

Lisa's heart for healing with both people and animals has been a lifelong pursuit. It became very personal after a traumatic life-changing injury. Her approach and compassion are unique because, after years of various types of therapies, she understands what it's like to have to persevere through your healing when you don't feel like it. As she says, "I know what it's like to be blessed with a miracle...not through spontaneous healing, but through hard work, wonderful support and lots of laughter. I work with everything from gas to chronic illness, so how much better do think you could feel if you had me to work with?!""

Monty McCurry picture

Monty McCurry, a 39-year professional in the recruiting business, founded Executive Resource Management, an executive search and personal representation firm in 1985. Since that time Monty has represented firms and individual executives on a national scale.

Because of his lifelong interest in fitness and alternative medicine, Monty joined with Lisa Whaley, Complete Health Concepts, in 2004 to become agents for Power Plate USA to develop the market in Colorado for their whole body vibration technology. Since then, Monty has been developing Corporate Wellness programs for CHC. Monty and Lisa continue researching new technologies in the energy medicine field.

Monty's additional business interests include being an acquisition team member that acquired The American Education Corp. in 1991. He remains an active owner and board member of the educational curriculum software firm and has participated in developing the firm from an early stage development company to its current status as a leader in the curriculum software business with over 14,000 installations worldwide. In 2001 Monty became a partner in McCurry Construction & Consulting, a custom home builder and renovator, which serves the Denver metro area.
